Ordering Process

Please drop by the store to pick up AFM colour fan for paints and / or stains. We do not recommend colour matching with other lines like Benjamin Moore / PARA.

With a deposit, you have the option of taking the colour fan home for 10 days to make a selection at your leisure.

We order paints and stains and typically takes 4-7 days from order date.

Paint is sold in quart and gallon sizes. A gallon covers approximately 350 square feet and plan to use at least 2 coats, keeping in mind it doesn't spread as fine as conventional paints.

Since the paint is water based, we highly recommend transitional primer is painting over an oil based surface.

Quart of AFM Zero/Low Paint is approx $22 CDN and Gallon is $55 CDN, regardless of colour and/or sheen (eggshell, flat or semigloss). The price excludes shipping - since its based on weight, we will provide you with a separate quote for shipping.

How much paint should I get?

Due to liability of recommending incorrect quantities, we cannot make this decision for you aside from providing you with the typical coverage for each product available via AFM's Spec Sheets. In general, paints cover 350 square feet per gallon.

Say you have a room 8 X 10 that you'd like to paint -The 8 x 10 description is much too vague to make a decision on. There is no ceiling height, information on closets, windows, and doors, information on how many coats they will need etc.
